The Good Mind: Cees & Annerie van Gemerden Exhibition

When: Friday, October 21, 2016

3:00pm – 5:00pm

Where: Central Library (55 York Blvd, Hamilton, ON)

CCENA and Hamilton Arts and Letters Magazine are proud to present, “The Good Mind: Cees & Annerie van Gemerden” on October 21st. Join us in honouring the work of artist-activists Cees and Annerie van Gemerden, whose artistic contributions are testament to the cultural production arising out of Hamilton’s arts community.

As an industrial city, Hamilton’s particular history of trade and proletariat culture foregrounded a kind of artistic interest in  ‘making as thinking.’ This exhibition demonstrates the kind of community engaged arts projects at the core of our centre.

Doors will open at 2:30, with a reception to follow the event.
